He didn’t have to act a certain way to look like a baby?He was born that way!=) The way he sits, the way he talks and the way he acts... If you know what I mean. We can try to sit like them and act as a child but it’ll never compare to the way they do it=) It’s inborn in them.
We are children of God. We dun have to try or act to be like one. We just be.
The next thought was, children are always so carefree. They are either laughing or sleeping soundly in their mother’s arm or crying. Never in between. You dun see them sitting down worrying about what may come tomorrow and cry over it. That would be quite a funny sight.Heh.
Ever saw a little kid learning how to walk? They are very eager for the “challenge”. They pick themselves up each time they fall. Some may cry but did they continue to sit there for a few days to ponder over their “mistake”?=) They probably would have forgotten about it. And slowly they mature and are ready to walk.
What happens if a child would to keep dwelling on her mistake, “I shouldn’t have step over that silly toy. Then I wouldn’t have trip and fall”
And she sits there day and night pondering over her mistakes.
She would not have learned how to walk. We know that rarely happens. But how often it happens to us when we make mistakes=) We blame the obstacles, our own weakness, our inability. We do not see the process that comes along with it.
If we would to see it differently, we would have enjoyed. I’m sure the child who learns to walk did=)
They pick themselves up fast. Dun try to even stop them. Sooner or later you’ll be stopping them from running around!
“…for though a righteous man falls seven times, he rises again…” Proverbs24:16
Progress comes when we pick ourselves up again.
Our parents are there to guide us as we take our first step. But they will never test us by putting us near the stairs to know the dangers of falling.
What more our Heavenly father who loves us so much. He watches your every step. Even when you take a step into a new season of life, he makes sure that you are still safe and is within His sight. You’ll fall once awhile but it’s ok. It’s necessary. But pick yourself up again and soon you’ll be running!
Be like the little children=)
