Mounting up like eagels

Isaiah 40:25-31

To whom then will you liken Me, that I should be equal to him? says the Holy One.

    Lift up your eyes on high and see! Who has created these? He Who brings out their host by number and calls them all by name; through the greatness of His might and because He is strong in power, not one is missing or lacks anything.

    Why, O Jacob, do you say, and declare, O Israel, My way and my lot are hidden from the Lord, and my right is passed over without regard from my God?

    Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, does not faint or grow weary; there is no searching of His understanding.

    He gives power to the faint and weary, and to him who has no might He increases strength [causing it to multiply and making it to abound].^(I)

    Even youths shall faint and be weary, and [selected] young men shall feebly stumble and fall exhausted;

    But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired.

It's so amazingly coincidental what Pastor preached today on eagles to what happened this morning. I didn't know why I decided to read my old post and the first page I clicked to in my blog page was page 11. Here was what I wrote on my draft on Nov 1, 07. I remember the word eagle clearly because it was in bold and it did jump out at me:)
"Today I took out my old journal and read the messages that was written to me quite some time back and I felt as though it was really fresh and it spoke to me. The only verse which I felt led to turn to was Isaiah 40:25-31 about mounting up like eagles and coincidentally the sermon that I listened to just now had this verse and also the mentioned of the pillars of fire, which I read in one of the msg that jump out at me."
And as I was walking to church, I was just telling God I want to remain looking like i'm 20years old when I turn 40 plus.
This whole week I happened to be listening to the song, "Eagles Wings" and "Power of Your Love' from the cd 'Heart of Worship' I took out from my stack of old cds.
How amazing god confirms his message. May we see our challenges as opportunity for His grace to manifest in our lives. Wait on Him on your situation right now. He'll be the one who will lift your wings like the eagle to mount up to the sun. There you'll see the Sun of Righteousness shining so brightly on you. So bright that no darkness will be able to withstand his glory. You'll not be dismayed but be strengthen from within. Soar high to him above your circumstances.
